Palmetto Interiors & Renovations is a family-owned and operated interior design firm established by husband and wife duo Natalie and Adam Simpson. With 15 years of combined interior design and entrepreneurial experience, Natalie and Adam are excited to share their expertise and down-to-earth professionalism with you.
Meet the Team
Natalie Simpson
Principal Designer
Loves geometric patterns, the color black, and a good cup of coffee.
Natalie has been bringing her clients’ visions to life as an interior designer since 2014. As Principal Designer at Palmetto Interiors & Renovations, she brings a natural eye for warm and inviting interior design, authentic approachability, and experience-based professionalism to accomplish her clients’ goals.
Inspired by watching her mother design homes, Natalie studied Interior Design at the Academy of Art University, and in 2013 graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Natalie went on to become co-owner of LBF Interiors, which she ran alongside her mother for seven years, working with clients in the Bay Area of California.
In 2021, Natalie and Adam made the life-changing decision to move with their son Avery to Austin, TX. With this decision came the opportunity to realize their dream of creating their own interior design studio.
Adam Simpson
Head of Operations
Loves cooking, mixology, and woodworking projects around the house.
From a young age, Adam knew that his heart lay in the spirit of entrepreneurialism. With a passion for food, wine, and craft beer, he opened his first establishment, Grape & Grain, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
After his early success as a restauranteur, Adam opened Wursthall, a sausage and bierhall in San Mateo, CA. From fundraising to working alongside celebrity Chef Kenji Alt-Lopez, to managing a large staff, as well as spearheading the branding and marketing for the restaurant, Adam positioned Wursthall as an exciting up-and-coming Bay Area foodie destination.
As Head of Operations for Palmetto Interiors & Renovations, Adam brings a high level of professionalism, and focused efficiency to his role as liaison between operations and design.
Natalie and Adam live in Round Rock, TX with their son, Avery, and their Chihuahua, Salamander (aka Sal). The Simpsons have fallen in love with the family-friendly and hospitable community they’ve found in Austin.
